I rarely say this but that is one sexy meal.

Tell me, how have you had egg?

Boiled?

Fried?

Scrambled?

Omlet?

In a potato salad?

i want one so badly said...

i'll give your compliments to the chef on that one (my dad always likes it when men call anything to do with him sexy)

I used to have hard boiled eggs a lot, I loved (maybe I still do) dipping soldiers in the yolk but I stopped eating them after being forced to eat the white. I really want to dip my soldiers in some yolk right now actually and that not even a metaphor.

Fried eggs are what I can remember not being able to keep down

I tried scrambled last year and I don't think I liked it much at all.

I've never had an omlet, and i've only ever had cold potato salad a few times which has never had egg in it I don't think

As you know, I do eat little bits of egg, like the bits of egg in dirty rice or eggs in baking.

It is obviously the texture that doesn't agree with your pallette. I suggest you try an omelette. A good one and if you can't eat it then there is no forcing it down or eating it bit by bit since it is a unique combination of taste and texture.

I think i'll give an omelette a go for tuesday's lunch then if i'm home (i'll post a picture)

i'm thinkin' bacon, peppers, onion and maybe some herbs

You need to get on scrambled eggs too. Scrambled egg, bacon and toast is one of the finest combinations our culture has come up with.

oh god no, don't think I could face scrambled eggs, not one bit - you can have my share of the culture

on tuesday I tried making an omlette, apart from it sticking to the pan, apparently it was fine. I thought it was horrible, a horrible slimely mess

the bacon was still soft, I think I might have eaten it if I had grilled the bacon really crispily before I put it in the omlette

I used a fair bit of clover to get the pan well greased, it still stuck and the thing tasted too oily for me anyway - I think I just needs a new pan.

After that I was going to give up but I tried boiled eggs, I had two of them and they weren't bad at all (apart from me smashing an egg all over my hands whilst trying to prick it for the water)

I had them with toast soldiers (what else what else) with a bit of salt, pepper and chili flakes. I loved the runny yolks so much, really they were wonderful - the white wasn't all that enjoyable though.

I think i'm going try soft boiled eggs again, but omlettes can piss off
